Features of the school

1| Extensive classes

The goal is to acquire “usable Japanese”—i.e., the four skills of reading, listening, writing, and speaking in a well-balanced manner, and becoming able to communicate in the real Japanese that Japanese people use naturally in everyday conversation.

2| Reliable college preparation

We provide individual guidance for students, such as experiences of learning at vocational schools and individual guidance for those who wish to go on to university. There is also a designated school recommendation system for universities and vocational schools.

3| Cross-cultural exchanges

The school offers opportunities for various cross-cultural exchange activities, such as free discussion with Japanese volunteers and year-end parties to which Japanese people are invited.

4| Optimal learning environment

Our school is located in Kita City, Tokyo, in a quiet residential area next to Ukima Park, famous for the Arakawa River, wild birds, and cherry blossoms. It is also a very handy location, only 16 minutes by train from the nearby station to Shinjuku, Japan’s busiest downtown area.

5| Student discount commuter pass

Our school is accredited under the School Education Act, so students can use student discount commuter passes for commuting, and student transport discounts also apply to travel fares.

6| Scholarship system

In addition to the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) Monbukagakusho Honors Scholarship for Privately-Financed International Students, we also offer our own TGN Scholarship Program to support students in their study abroad experience.

Visa acquisition and intermediation

International students studying at a Japanese language school are required to renew their visas every year. Our staff is qualified to attend the Immigration Bureau on behalf of students and apply for student visa renewal, so students are freed from the hassle of going to the Immigration Bureau to renew every year.
